Sometimes It's Hotter - (850) 927-5039
One of our favorite places! Perfect place to pick up wine, beer, cheese, salsas, and hot sauces. If you like a little spice in your life, they have a ton of seasonings for all types of cooking. In the mornings, the owner's wife makes fresh bakery goods. We love their three cheese bread and cinnamon rolls.
Dale's Seafood or Doug's Seafood
These guys are local seafood trucks on the island. Dale is located next to SGI Trading Post and Doug is located in the parking lot of the Lighthouse/Island Park. Both offer the freshest seafood on the island. Get ready to chow down on shrimp and oysters!
Bite to Eat?
We are just going to be honest, but SGI's dining scene is poor. If you don't feel like cooking, there is Harry A's, The Blue Parrot, and Bj's Pizza.
For Breakfast, Weber's Little Donut Shop is the best! Freshly made donuts in the morning hit the spot.
If you care about the taste of your food, head on over to Apalachicola. Our favorites are Owl Cafe (great for date nights), Hole in the Wall, and the Station Raw Bar. We highly suggest sticking to these 3 as you can't go wrong with them.
Is There Cell Service?
AT&T and Verizon have stellar reception on the island. Sprint piggybacks off Verizon, but roaming caps do apply according to your plan. T-Mobile very spotty coverage and don't count on getting through. If you have a wifi-calling compatible phone through your carrier, turn it on!
